Florence Alabama Business Owner Tip Leads To Burglary Arrest

Business owner tip leads to arrests in Residential Burglaries; Florence Police responded to a reported burglary at 1pm yesterday afternoon in the 400 block of North Walnut Street. Shortly after officers arrived a local pawn shop owner notic…ed three suspicious persons inside his business. Patrol Officers and Investigators responded and identified Teeirra Anderson, 20, of Florence, and two juveniles attempting to sell items stolen during the burglaries. The three suspects were interviewed and subsequently charged with two (2) counts each of Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 2nd. Ms. Anderson was transported to the Lauderdale County Detention Center where she is currently being held in lieu of bond. The juveniles were also arrested and are being held in the Tennessee Valley Juvenile Detention Center. All property stolen in these burglaries has been recovered and returned to its owners. The Florence Police Department would like to thank the community, especially the business owners in this case, for their assistance in this case.
